Helping the homeless pets... was a walk in the park!
Mayor Karen Farbridge marshaled the start of the Wiggle Waggle Walk.
On May 24th 2009 the Guelph Humane Society’s Wiggle Waggle Walk-a-thon was a morning of fun for all involved. This year there was a silent auction, live music, a display by the Parrot Club of Guelph and Cambridge, guessing games to win prizes and as always the Kortright Animal Hospital barbeque!
Many canine companions attended to support their fellow homeless pet friends at the humane society. Pet parents were also invited to walk the 4K walk or 1.5K short walk with their anxious canines. Guelph Mayor Karen Farbridge marshaled the walk with a dachshund.
Guessing games for an Ipod Nano, Motorola Bluetooth Headset, Garmin GPS, Girl and Boy’s Bicycles, Skateboard and Polaroid Digital Camera were drawn and the winners have been announced! Check out the pictures of the winners with their prizes.
